Igazu Falls – The Falls – Brazil

The falls themselves are on the border of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay.  Via a local tour guide/taxi driver we arranged a visit to the Brazillian side of the falls.    After crossing the border and entering the Brazilian national park, we started on the trail towards Devil’s Throat.

This well maintained path is about 1 mile long.  However it took us more than an hour to get to the end.  The trail was not difficult, but around every turn there was a view of the falls that exceeded the last.  It really was an amazing collection of views that culminated at the base of Devil’s throat itself.

It took a little extra effort and time to get over to the Brazilian side, but it was worth it!
